Painters require different size brushes for a variety of painting jobs. Limiting yourself to one, or even a few, brushes can make the painting and clean up process a lot longer and harder. This 3" wide brush will cover a slightly wider area, while still giving lots of surface control to the painter. Rollers and other big brushes, while they cover a larger area, can take control away from the painter and inhibit them from being too specific or detailed.
